Drama
Accents, stage combat, improvisation, acting for TV, monologues, script work
Dance
Choreography based on Musical Theatre numbers, tailored warm-ups and stamina building.
Singing
Vocal warm-ups, technique, acting through singing, breathing and relaxation, termly themed Musical Theatre pieces.

We aim to bring out the very best in every student, encourage self-belief and create opportunities for aspiring young performers. Our pupils will develop life skills which will benefit them far beyond the world of theatre and performance: COMMUNICATION and PRESENTATION skills, IMPROVISATION to help develop sharpness of mind, VOICE ARTICULATION and PROJECTION, PHYSICAL CO-ORDINATION and FITNESS, IMAGINATION, CREATIVITY and SELF-ESTEEM.
Our ethos is one of a true performance company, where ALL students take part in ALL performances, whatever level of ability. Every student that joins the COTSWOLD STAGE SCHOOL will be an important member of our family, as we help them to grow into well-rounded, self-assured individuals. Taught in a supportive, fun and creative environment, the disciplines of acting, dancing and singing will bring young people together in a vibrant and happy community to explore the magical world of performance.
We will be offering:
MASTERCLASSES FROM VISITING INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS FROM THE WEST END AND BEYOND.
Also incorporating the COTSWOLD STAGE SCHOOL WHOLE SCHOOL ENSEMBLE, which will rehearse every week and make appearances at major festivals and events around Chipping Norton and beyond.
Saturdays in term time 1.00 pm – 3.30pm.
All classes will be structured around three age groups: Adelphi 6-8, Novello 9-10 and Palladium 11-18, with the whole school coming together for the whole stage school ensemble.
Competitive cost: £18.50 per week (less than £7.50 per hour) with sibling reductions available.
